People define overpopulation as an issue that until now affects the whole country in a negative way. For me this can have both advantage and disadvantage in our society. People see it as negative because they can feel the insufficiency in our country’s budget to supply their needs. But if we take advantage of the skills people can offer, there’s a lot of opportunity that may come. It’s about the discipline and wise management of the people.
Overpopulation in the Philippines had been increased for the past 5 years. Right now it’s one of the major concern of our government. The number one factor of it is unemployment. Nowadays most Filipinos are struggling in getting good jobs because of lack of education and because of having no job, people have no things to do and just stay in their house. Poverty is the second factor of having our country overpopulated. Most of the people especially the poor have no capacity to have something to do . They can’t go shopping, adventuring, going to parks and malls etc. because of having no money to be spent. that’s why the only thing that gives pleasure to them is SEX, not just on adults but also the teenagers or youths. For my opinion, the government must think of something that is helpful for the poor ones to have their good future and also to have something to do. They must give all the Filipinos jobs and training’s that will makes all poor Filipinos survive from poverty.
Overpopulation – such an alarming issue in our beloved country. How awful to think that most of us disregarded this thing. For me, overpopulation is the only cause why this country suffers from economic crisis, unemployment, informal settlers, insufficient supply of foods, high rates criminal cases and the reason why citizens of this country are forced to work abroad. It is very sad to say that if this issue wouldn’t be resolved, citizen or Filipinos will suffer twice or maybe thrice as they suffer now in the near future. Lastly, the most tearful part of it if overpopulation wasn’t prioritize first is that; you’ll never hear the Filipinos to say “It’s more fun in the Philippines” again.
